Once the array processing and scanning is completed, there is an enormous amount of information to be compiled and analyzed to give results that are significant and meaningful. Our bioinformatic group has a great deal of expertise in analytical strategies for microarray analysis. Starting with the processing of the scanned image we perform data normalization and replicate analysis to identify list of genes up and down regulated between experimental and control samples. We also perform more sophisticated cluster analysis to identify patterns of gene expression. Our team has also generated algorithms for the semi-quantification of mRNA samples by real-time PCR.
